Vivo has announced that it is planning to unveil its latest premium photography-focused device under the V-Series, the Vivo V20 in Kenya.
The phone will be launched this month, although Vivo has not mentioned the exact date it will be available for purchase.
The Vivo V20 will be branded under the slogan ‘’Be the Focus’’ and Vivo says it will seek to offer ”extraordinary photography and videography solutions and bring the best moment of truth to users by capturing creative portraits and imaginative videos.”
Vivo V20 comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. We will also be getting some 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
The Vivo V20 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and runs Funtouch OS 11 based on the Android 11 operating system. The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Vivo V20 is a camera phone so, as a user, you will be getting a triple camera setup on the rear comprising of a 64 MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8 MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The phone sports a 44 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies. This Eye Autofocus selfie can shoot up to 4K selfie video with additional features such as the—Slo-Mo Selfie video, steadiface selfie video, Dual-view video for back and front viewing at the same time, and the Super Night Selfie.

The device shall revolutionize smartphone technology in the country,” said Vivo Smartphone Kenya Brand Manager James Irungu.
The Vivo V20 will be available in Kenya in two colors – Midnight jazz and the Sunset melody. Price and availability will be announced later.
