Want To Meet Thierry Henry As He Arrives on the 16th December Courtesy of Guinness? Here’s How

Football Legend Thierry Henry will be visiting Kenya on 15th-16th December as part of the Guinness Made of Black program.

Guinness will be conducting a soccer camp with four community teams in Nairobi next month.  As part of the camp, football legend and former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry, will drop in and meet the teams during his visit to Kenya early next month.

The soccer camp is part of Guinness on going activities aimed at bringing football closer to the community country wide. The football star will work with Guinness in Kenya and across Africa to shine a light on those who demonstrate their Made of Black spirit.

The selected teams comprising upcoming players from different parts of the country who have shown their Made of Black spirit on the pitch, will have the opportunity to demonstrate their bold play in front of Thierry Henry in a game officiated by Tabitha Njoroge, the Kenyan Premier League referee and the only female referee in the league.

“The session will be attended by Thierry as well as coaches from the selected teams, for the players – it’s about getting advice on how to progress in soccer as a profession. Kenya has so much bourgeoning soccer talent, however, many times players miss out on the guidance and career advice that will take them to the next level. We believe this camp will be an eye opener for these players who want to grow to become professionals”, said Nduku Wamakau, Marketing Manager – Guinness, Kenya.

The statement comes two months after announcing a major partnership with legendary footballer, Thierry Henry; an international football icon.  As part of the Guinness Made of Black programme, Guinness will be working with Henry to celebrate the unique passion of African fans and their Made of Black spirit, and giving Kenyan football fans the chance to meet the former Arsenal Centre Forward when he visits Kenya.
