With more than 900 students sponsored, the M-PESA Foundation Academy, a leading learning institution, is opening its doors once again to receive 2023 scholarship applications for students in Class 8 who are set to sit for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Examination (KCPE) in November 2023.
The M-PESA Foundation Academy is an all-rounded institution giving them the necessary tools and infrastructure including state-of-the-art education in and out of the classroom with outdoor activities such as athletics, football, swimming, basketball and so much more.
How does admission work?
One of the most important things to know about the Academy is how keen they are on diversity. They chose students from all 47 counties who have applied as well as refugee applicants.
Point to note: The refugees must have schooled in Kenya for at least 3 years and must be registered with UNHCR.
Their vision also revolves around Curiosity, Transformational Leadership, Accountability, Innovation, Responsible citizenship and Excellence (CLAIRE).
Once a student is admitted after the selection and interview process, the parent/parents/guardians rest easy knowing they are well taken care of since the students of the Academy receive 100% scholarship meaning their tuition fee, boarding fee and personal effects are provider free of charge. The only cost incurred is when the parent/guardian take care of transport from their home to school.
