Safaricom has today announced a revamp of its data plans with customers set to enjoy up to 100% more data on their favourite daily, weekly, monthly and select all-in-one plans. This will see both postpay and prepay customers browse more at no extra cost.

The move to offer customers increased value is in recognition of the prevailing economic landscape that has seen the cost of living go up.

Some of the headline changes include the Kshs 20 daily plan, which has been increased to 100MB, up from 50MB; the Kshs 99 weekly plan with 500MB, up from 350MB, and the Kshs 1000 monthly plan that now offers 7GB, up from 5GB.

The new data plans follow the success of Mwelekeo Ni Internet campaign, which was introduced in November last year to showcase the transformative power of the internet, provide data offers, and enable customers to acquire affordable 4G smartphones via the Lipa Mdogo Mdogo device financing plan.

Customers can dial *544# or visit MySafaricom app to access the full suite of revamped bundles.
