East Africa’s largest insurer, Jubilee Insurance was yesterday feted as the General Insurer of the year during this year’s Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) Awards, stamping its place in the financial services sector.
In the individual categories, Jayshree Mansukh Haria emerged as the winner in the Persistence Category with Jane Ndung’e and Nayla Asif Mohamed emerging among the Top 50 Life Insurance Agents. Elisha Reru and Moses Ndiritu were also recognised among the Top 10 General Insurance Agents.
Commenting on this achievement, Dr. Julius Kipng’etich, Jubilee Insurance Regional Chief Executive Officer noted that the win highlights the firm’s deliberate investment in strategic areas in order to provide value to its customers and partners. “This is an important recognition that will go a long way in driving our vision of continue to being the leading insurer,” Dr. Julius noted.

The awards which seeks to recognize the efforts of insurers in delivering efficient insurance and financial services to its customers saw Jubilee Insurance also take 3rd place in the Life Insurance category.
The annual awards were organized under the theme “Customer First” was aimed at celebrating top performing insurance sales agents and companies for the year ended 2018. A total of 425 insurance agents were able to be recognized as qualifying agents having moved over Kshs. 1.8Bn in premiums last year.
