Nairobi’s largest celebration of cocktail culture, the second edition of the Nairobi Cocktail Festival which took place from 29th November to 1st December, came to a close after 3 days and nights of nothing but absolute deliciousness in terms of setting, lots of great company, food and obviously a large array of cocktails.

With over 40 different cocktail experiences to choose from, EatOut and Baraka events organized an event which had something for everyone. From gin, whiskey, vodka from top alcoholic brands such as Pernod Ricard, Bacardi Martini, Hendricks Gin and many other newer brands to the Kenyan market like Amari Indian Ocean Gin that made from, yep you guessed it, water from the Indian ocean to Musgrave Handcrafted Pink gin.

The Diageo team also held a one-of-a-kind gin masterclass with the beautifully crafted Tanqueray where holders of the VIP and VVIP tickets were engaged in exploring their palate with the gin category with East African Breweries Limited National Advocacy Manager Douglas Duncanson.

When it came to food, they had the likes of Brown’s Cheese, German Sausage, Healthy U, Zucchini and the hosts Dari restaurant setting up tent in close proximity to all our faves so that we didn’t have to walk a long distance to eat up.

Highlights From The 2019 Nairobi Cocktail FestivalThe Cocktail Festival was one of the best done events I’ve been to so far despite the traffic and the heavy rain that I thought would ruin the party. Kudos to the entire team of EatOut and Baraka events, can’t wait for the next one! 🙂
