The 2018 Edition of The Cake Art Affair To Go Down This Saturday

If you happen to be a lover of good music, art and most of all scrumptious cake, then the Cake Art Affair that’s going down this Saturday is the ultimate plan for you!

The Cake Art Affair is an event of the youth, by the youth and for the youth that promotes talents and young entrepreneurs while providing a space for the youth to engage and interact. The previous editions have not failed to deliver; be it in giving an array of lively music, jam-packed perfomances, lots of amazing baking talent and thousands of cake samples to choose from and this year will be no different!

The annual non-alcoholic event will be at the Arboretum and will blend the Art of baking, live Music, Poetry, and Visual art. The event showcases the best upcoming live musicians and poets, hosts home-bakers who display their works and give free cake samples and also offers a platform for young entrepreneurs to exhibit, market and sell their products/services.

With over 25 Cake stands, attendees will be treated to over 100 flavors of cake for free from all the stands. There will be an Arts Market that will house over 20 arts, crafts and jewelry vendors, 90% of whom are youth.

Seven (7) bands/musicians are also scheduled to perform, namely; Gravitti, Ayrosh, Mr Jemedari, Kaskazini Music, WeN_Music, Ian Msanii, Tessy Aura, as well as the talented GQ Dancers.

Music will be served by DJ Essentials while Don The Black will be holding it
down as the master of ceremony.
